Peter F. Drucker (1909-2005)

Considerat el pare del management modern, Peter Drucker va ser el més influent observador de la realitat empresarial del segle XX. Es deia d’ell que detestava els afalacs, que era una persona plana i senzilla. Els seus amics el consideraven un visionari, i el definien com algú mordaç i vital.

Professor, escriptor i consultor, a banda d’un gran teòric de la gestió empresarial, Peter Drucker va ser també un gran humanista. Al llarg de la seva carrera sempre va  posar de relleu la importància de la dignitat humana davant del caòtic sistema econòmic i polític

Autor de més de 35 llibres de gestió, estratègia i innovació, el seu llegat intel·lectual inclou idees com la descentralització de les grans organitzacions i la gestió per objectius, la consideració dels treballadors com el major recurs i actiu de les empreses, o conceptes com el de privatització i el de treballadors del coneixement.
